Spay/neuter

  • 4 – 18 months is the age span that is most commonly recommended for spay/ neuter surgery

  • Waiting too late to spay your dog could result in a life threatening uterine infection (pyometra) or  mammary cancer

  • Very large, overweight dogs may need to be referred to a specialty hospital for spay/ neuter procedures.
